The County of Orange Data Center is equipped with the most advanced in fire protection. In order to ensure equipment safety, the Center is directly connected to the County of Orange Fire and Police Departments. The Center implements strict emergency procedures in which all personnel are trained on a yearly basis.

Halon detectors and activation switches are found throughout the Center, as well as fire extinguishers and sprinklers. A Fire Alarm Enunciator Map depicts where smoke or fire has been detected.
